Year 9 and 10 Stem Workshop
On Tuesday 7th May, Year 9 & 10 students engaged in a hands on STEM workshop that focused on the exciting HS2 project. The morning task encouraged teamwork and exploring the various roles involved in a large scale project. The students were asked to design and build a 3D ultra-modern train station on the HS2 line.
In the afternoon activities, the students were given a challenge to build a tunnel from paper straws, which would be robust enough to withstand 4kg of weight. The day was interactive and helped students to develop many creative skills.
