Parkside Students Shine at Sky Elstree Studio for Safer Internet Day 2025
In an exciting collaboration with Sky Up and their dedicated media education team, Parkside students have embarked on a remarkable journey to create their very own film about staying safe online. This initiative, part of our Safer Internet Day celebrations, has provided our students with invaluable handson experience in the world of media and entertainment.
Our students have been involved in every aspect of the filmmaking process. From creating, planning, and directing to filming and acting, they have demonstrated incredible creativity and dedication. This project has not only allowed them to express their artistic talents but also to convey important messages about internet safety in a fun and engaging way.
One of the highlights of this project was the exciting tour of Sky Elstree Studio. Our students had the unique opportunity to explore a professional recording studio, gaining insights into the various careers available in the media industry. This behindthe- scenes experience has inspired many of them to consider future opportunities in this dynamic field.
