Odd Socks Day Fun!
On Tuesday 12th November, Parkside celebrated Odd Socks Day with a powerful message: Choose Respect! This special day was filled with excitement and meaningful activities designed to raise awareness about bullying and promote kindness among students and staff.
One of the highlights of the day was the Match the Sock Game. Students put their thinking caps on and tried to match up the wackiest socks in the class. It was a fun and challenging activity that brought lots of laughter and smiles. Who knew socks could be so tricky? The game not only entertained but also encouraged teamwork and attention to detail.
Another engaging activity was the Guess the Type of Bullying Quiz. Everyone tested their knowledge in a scrambled quiz about different types of bullying. This quiz was an eye-opener, helping students learn how to spot various forms of bullying and understand the importance of standing up against it. By participating in this quiz, we reinforced the message that together, we can make our school a safe and welcoming place for all!
