The Training Kitchen
This new state-of-the-art training kitchen inspired by some of the world’s top restaurants, is the place where students learn their catering craft. The kitchen includes industry standard equipment as used in catering establishments around the world. Complemented by the restaurant, the hospitality suite offers both front and back of house experiences.
The Media Suite
The television studio awaits students who choose to study Creative and Digital Media Production at Parkside. These facilities have been designed and equipped with the help of experts to ensure that the skills and techniques learnt equip young people with the experience required to thrive in the ever-changing media industry.
New Media and Radio Suite
A recently purpose built New Media and Radio Suite also serves to enhance the delivery of Creative and Digital Media Production. Students are not only able to gain real life radio broadcasting experience, they are able to explore the realms of new media - which is predominately the use of the internet to reach consumers or viewers.
The Salon
This fully functioning salon is an integral part of the provision, hosting hairdressers, barbers and beauty therapists. This offers students first-hand experience in terms of colouring, cutting and styling hair, plus a range of other beauty treatments.
