The Marketing Mix 10/03/21
Year 11 Business Students at Parkside have been identifying and arranging the elements of the marketing mix. The emphasis of the lesson was to understand how to effectively choose the appropriate place, product, promotion and price, then manage them in such ever-changing and dynamic markets. Students explored the Boston Matrix and other models to help make profitable marketing decisions. The aim was to make the companies more competitive and adaptable to the market.
The students created their own product life cycles and extension in groups using picture collages online. They reflected on the effectiveness of strategies for product extension through short answer questions, essays, debates and presentations.
