The Rosedale Hewens Academy Trust is committed to providing a comprehensive range of courses for Post 16 learners.

At Post 16, students at Parkside have access to a variety of Level 3 courses by choosing from the pathways outlined and supplement this with additional industry standard qualifications or AS levels. Students either continue at their same placement or begin a new experience; typically spending the equivalent of two full days in the workplace, usually a paid placement.  By this stage, students will already have gained Level 2 qualifications and GCSEs, and be expected to take a more advanced role within the organisation.

At the end of the Level 3 courses, students will be able to apply for a place at university or move into full time employment.  The qualifications offered at Parkside allow for progression into a number of local universities as well as those further afield.

Post 16 learners must adhere to the business dress code by wearing plain suits or smart separates. All items must be of standard length and suitable for College or the workplace.  Depending on the pathway involved, work wear will also be issued as appropriate and must be worn as directed.  A professional appearance is vitally important and learners are required to be excellent role models by acting in a mature and sensible manner at all times.
