Trip Cancellation/ Postponement Notice
A notice to all parents, guardians and carers; in light of recent events, Prime Minister, Boris Johnson has set out the need for drastic action in order to tackle the coronavirus outbreak in the country. Whilst he advises that all public gatherings and non-essential travel be suspended, The Rosedale Hewens Academy Trust has undertaken special measures to ensure the safeguarding of all students across the Trust, following both local and national guidance in relation to the current COVID-19 outbreak.
It is with regret to inform you of the cancellations/postponements of a number of educational trips and sporting activities which have formerly been arranged for this academic year, owing to the current pandemic. While this will no doubt be disappointing to all who have looked forward to these events, our priority is to ensure the safety, health and wellbeing of all our students and staff at all times.
Families will be reimbursed for all prepaid trips, though we kindly ask for your patience as clarifying the nature and extent of the financial commitments entered into with families may take some time. However, we will endeavour to arrange for the refunds of these sums as soon as possible.
