Capitalising on Face-to-Face Support 29/06/20

Students from all option groups returned to college on their allocated days and embraced the opportunity for face-to-face support from their teachers in preparation for a solid foundation in September 2020.

In Mathematics, students have been studying data handling and have discovered how these concepts are widely associated with their daily lives, from census polls to health trends. In Science, they have developed their understanding of photosynthesis and respiration through the use of multimedia activities; this involved analysing videos of various experiments related to the unit. As part of the respiration topic, students used applications on their mobile phones to measure their pulse rate and analysed these results using graphs to determine whether they were fit.
The students returned to college with a burst of enthusiasm and have expressed their appreciation for the face-to-face support from their teachers.
